I. ALL JEDI OF ICJ MUST ALWAYS BE TRUE TO THE LIGHT SIDE OF THE FORCE:
ICJ is a clan of Jedi Knights. We defend peace and justice on the Net, and battle arrogant clans.  The dark side is full of violent and easy powers; once you step down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

II. NO GUNS IN A "SABER BATTLE":

Guns are not allowed in saber battles unless otherwise specified by the host of the game. While in the clan you will primarily be taught how to use the lightsaber.  In a Free for All where a "Saber Battle" has not been announced you may choose what ever weapon you wish.

III. FISTS ALWAYS MEAN PEACE:

Never hit anyone at fists on purpose, we understand accidents happen. (Obviously doesn't apply in a "Fist Fight".)

IV. NO HACKING/CHEATING:
We are a non-hacking clan. Hackers will be kicked out of any official ICJ games on the first offense, on the 2nd they will be banned from the clan and/or all clan games and events. In non-official ICJ games ALWAYS respect the parameters set by the host of the game. Remember that you represent ICJ and what you do reflects on us.

V. DUELS /TEAMS / FREE FOR ALL:

DUELS: This rule means that you fight one person, 1 on 1, to the death, or, until he/she goes to fists, if this happens you can fight someone else who is not already engaged in a duel. DO NOT INTERFERE IN SOMEONE ELSE'S DUEL.
TEAMS: There are times when it is desirable to band together against an opponent instead of engaging in mindless destruction it is important at these times to be wary of striking down your own team mates (it is understood that accidents do happen).
FREE FOR ALL: These are times primarily for training in combat against multiple opponents. Free For All can be quite a challenge because utter Chaos usually erupts.

VI. ONLY THOSE SPECIFIED BY THE COUNCIL CAN RECRUIT A MEMBER INTO THE CLAN: If someone wants to join, refer them the [link] on our web site.

VII. ONLY MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ARE ALLOWED TO START A CLAN WAR: (different from a clan battle) if another clan is giving you trouble, hold your tongue and refer them one of the members of the council.

VIII. KEEP SWEARING DOWN: Don't swear really vulgarly in a battle or chat, especially in front of other clans. Swearing shows a lack of respect for yourself and others and is an insult to your intelligence. Also it reflects poorly on the maturity of ICJ. If you must use colorful expletives in the interest of Role Playing please use creative alternatives to common foul language.  (i.e. "sweet mother of a swaggering Corellian").

IX. RESPECT ALL OTHERS WHETHER WE ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THEM OR NOT, INCLUDING OUR ENEMIES: A trained Jedi learns to control his emotions. Give no cause for offense. Then if there is any blame to be given it won't rightfully fall on you. A respected enemy may one day be an ally. All legitimate quarrels are to be settled in the presence of two witnesses before an arbitrator.

X. YOU MUST LEAVE ICJ IF YOU ARE IN ANY OTHER CLANS: In order to be in ICJ you must be in no other clans. You may remain only if you leave all other Star Wars based clans.

XI. ONLY MEMBERS OF KNIGHT LEVEL OR ABOVE MAY CHALLENGE AN OPPOSING CLAN WHILE AT WAR.

If you suspect a member has broken the code please report the incident to a council member.  If the offence was performed by a council member then report the incident to another council member or the presiding leader of ICJ.  The objective is to determine if the offence is a downward trend.  If a trend is determined then the appropriate action will be taken in accordance to the severity of the offence.  Understand that rules and codes are meant to be guidelines in civility to help us manage a more enjoyable experience for everyone.  If you demand justice then chances are you need to re-evaluate your motives.
