ICJ was originally formed the summer of 1998 founded by ICJ_Paladin and
several of his friends. ICJ started primarily as a small group of
friends who enjoyed playing Star Wars: Dark Forces 2 aka Jedi Knight.
They abandoned ICJ and continued to play together under another guild
name. You can still find the
Radiant Knights playing
their favorite game after all these years.
ICJ_ObiWan discovered ICJ and resurrected the clan. ICJ continued
to be primarily a Jedi Knight gaming clan. This was the height of
Star Wars: Jedi Knight being played on the MSN Gaming Zone and
membership was also at an all-time high.
Over the next few years we had grand adventures playing Jedi Knight.
As with most organizations there was squabbling, subterfuge, and
intrigue, everything that makes life interesting. At ICJ's lowest
point ICJ_ObiWan was tired of how things had turned out and decided to
close up shop. He turned ICJ over to whoever was left and
ICJ_QuiGon_Jinn stepped up as leader. ICJ_ObiWan split off to form
a new clan the New Jedi Order which later Shortened to Jedi Order.
Members of JO can be still found at their site
http://www.jedi-order.net/.
After Qui's brief term of service ICJ_GuapaSport stepped up as leader.
She brought ICJ to become more of a Star Wars community than just a
gaming clan. After about a year the busyness of school and soccer
took Guapa away for extended periods of time. ICJ_KepJekura had
taken to maintaining the web site and became acting second as facilities
administrator. Eventually Guapa decided to retire and passed the
torch to Kep.
Several games were scheduled to come along promising excitement and
expected revival to ICJ's gaming element. To pass the time ICJ
started into RPG forum gaming. Star Wars: Obiwan was scheduled to
come out and we all anticipated a great renewal in the gaming community.
Lucasarts decided to go a different direction with the game and later
promised Star Wars: Jedi Outcast to the excited fans they left hanging.
JO was a fun game but never had the success of it's predecessor.
JO was exciting with a fun new gaming engine and graphics but many fans
were disappointed. Star Wars: Jedi Academy was released and
appeased some of that disappointment.
Since then many games have been anticipated, released, and played.
Over the years ICJ has transitioned from a strict gaming clan fighting
to climb in rank and power to a community of loyal friends sharing their
adventures in life.
But the best is yet to be written.
